Winter wreaths

Winter is the time to create and take up hobbies! And my way of doing so is by crafting. I love to use what I have or what nature provides me with so I am putting that into use. A walk by the forest, the park, the lake or the sea can benefit you more than you can think. So the next time crab some brunches, leaves, pine cones, acorns or whatever else you can find...That's what I did and I DIYed some beatiful winter wreaths, or at least in my eyes. The beauty in this project is that you have the liberty to put together your own one of a kind wreath. You can decorate it with dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, small ornaments, dried leaves or small pomegranates, nuts, pieces of wood, the possibilities are truly endless...

In my case, I used brunches of vineyard to make the base wreath because that's what I had. It is easy to bend into a circle and doesn't break. If you don't have access to that you can use an old wreath in case you have one or you can buy a simple base in a craft store or in the dollar tree. Next I used my hot glue gun to place the pine cones. After that I hot glued the small decorations I chose, acorns, dried orange slices and small poegranates.Lastly, I hot glued the brunchies to give it a little volume and color. Put a ribbon that you like and you're done. This project is lovely for an winter afternoon, it costs nearly nothing, my only expense was the hot glue gun sticks which are super cheap (1 euro), and is so easy that you can do no wrong.
